Following an inquiry and article by PageOneQ about the lack of 'sexual orientation' in their on line non discrimination employment statement, The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee has changed the on-line version to include 'sexual orientation.'
When asked if the non-discrimination policy would be placed on the its website, a spokesman from the Democratic National Committee told PageOneQ, The DNC does not put documents related to human resources on the website."
A follow-up question to the spokesman, "What good is a non discrimination policy if it's not readily available?," has not yet been answered.
A spokesman for the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, Karl Frisch, promised to provide a copy of that group's statement by Tuesday afternoon. The policy has not been provided as of this update.
None of the national Republican organizations (The Republican National Committee, National Republican Senatorial Committee, National Republican Congressional Committee, and the Republican Governor's Association) have replied to PageOneQ's request for their non-discrimination policy, if they have one.
UPDATE: The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee has posted the statement on their website, four days after PageOneQ's inquiry.
