High school student files suit over sexual assault at football camp

A Madera County, California teenager is the second boy in the past two months to file a lawsuit against school officials, coaches, teammates and their legal guardians for a sexual assault that allegedly took place at a football camp for Gustine High School players. In the suit filed in the Madera County Superior Court, the teen and his mother allege that three teammates used an air mattress pump nozzle to assault the boy. In May, a 14 year old attendee at the camp filed suit in federal court, claiming that he was sexually assaulted by upperclassmen. The team's coach was placed on administrative leave and later reassigned to teach at a middle school.
