Movie trailer premieres for Gus Van Sant's epic on the life of Harvey Milk

Harvey Milk, the openly gay San Francisco Supervisor who was assassinated with mayor George Moscone by fellow Supervisor Dan White in 1978, is the subject of a new film premiering November 26. The film, Milk, is directed by openly gay film director Gus Van Sant.

Van Sant has directed such well-known movies as Drugstore Cowboy and My Own Private Idaho. He was nominated for a Best Director Academy Award™ for 1997's Good Will Hunting.
