Brownstein was told that his selection, "A Proud Gay Democrat for John McCain," was rejected. The representative told him over the phone that the banner "could only be personalized with names." According to the McCain campaign store, "Demeaning or derogatory names or phrases are not acceptable."
A donation to the presidential campaign of GOP Senator John McCain is not enough for full creative control over one's signs supporting him, reported Examiner.com on Wednesday.
